Doctor Maria Giulia Bianchi is the Clinical and Surgical Head of the Centre.
She studied at Milan’s Università degli Studi and graduated with full honours, specialising in Ophthalmology. She has been working in Ocular Surgery for thirty years.
Doctor Bianchi specialises in the following Ophthalmic and Surgical fields:

• Cataract Surgery
• Refractive Surgery
• Strabismus Surgery
• Glaucoma
• Cosmetic and Functional Eyelid Surgery
• Laser treatment of retinal disorders

Head of the Maternity and Children’s Unit of San Gerardo Hospital in Monza, Head Neonatologist and Professor at Milan’s Bicocca University, Professor Tagliabue is the paediatric expert in our practice, the one who provides general care for our youngest patients.

Since gaining a Physics degree at Milan’s Università degli Studi, our contact lens specialist and visual impairment consultant is now also a expert at European level, belonging to various European teams working in this field.
He is head of the Clinical Professional Service Ultravision (UK), Procornea (NL), Special Lenses and Low Vision (EU).
Our contact lens specialist provides the patients of our practice his long term, international experience in the contact lens and visual impairment fields.

A graduate in Ortoptics and Ophthalmological Assistance from Milan’s Università degli Studi, Doctor Tirelli has long-term experience in clinical orthoptics. She chooses to deal with the most complicated junior and adult cases in our practice.
She is also head of diagnostic semeiology in the practice.

A graduate in Ortoptics and Ophthalmological Assistance from Milan’s Università degli Studi, Doctor Marchesi makes orthoptic diagnoses and deals with pre- and post-operative orthoptic re-education.

She manages the administration of the Practice and contact with the patients.
